Design and Photography
Publications, educational resources and interpretive signage. Chris has over 25 years of experience in designing print material, advertising and online platforms. By choice she works with environmental companies, organisations and tourism to promote the natural world. She has created magazines, full tourism campaigns, educational packages and signage. This includes initial concept, copywriting, illustration, photography and design to print or launch.
She also publishes her own resources including “Foragers Quick Guide - Edible Seaweeds and Coastal Plants of Port Phillip Bay” and “Foragers Quick Guide - Edible and useful weeds of Western Victoria”.
Workshop Design and facilitation
A passionate teacher and workshop facilitator. Chris has 10+ years experience teaching adults groups, university classes and school groups. Her focus is on helping people to "see" the natural environment through careful observation. Workshop topics vary with regional habitats and the season but usually have a field excursion component and follow up with more detailed drawing exercise in a studio environment. This can be tailored to suit your group or event.
